- Purpose
The Colonel Light Gardens Bowling Club (CLGBC) welcomes all its members and visitors to gather together and promotes a safe and enjoyable venue.
- Responsibility
Bowls SA has adopted the National Integrity Framework of Sports Integrity Australia hence CLGBC follows these guidelines to protect its members from circumstances arisen from complaints/grievances when it can.
Any member who has a personal complaint or grievance that relates to the following situations are to approach the Executive Committee if it cannot be resolved between the parties involved.
2.1 Grievance over selection
In the event of a grievance with a selection decision or process, the Chairperson of the Selection Panel will oversee the escalation through to the CLGBC Board of Management if required.
2.2 Breach of the Code of Conduct
Breaches of the Code of Conduct are to be reported to any member of the Board of Management of the CLGBC. When required, the Executive reserve the right to make decisions and enforce fair and appropriate measures to resolve a breach of the Code of Conduct.
- Procedure
If a complaint/grievance cannot be resolved between the parties then a member of the Executive is to be notified via the Complaints/Grievance Notification Form (found on the website).
The Executive will review the complaint and if required will discuss either at the next scheduled meeting or if the matter is urgent, will call an out of session meeting. The complainant will be notified of the date of this meeting.
Once the Executive has met, either a resolution will be provided to the complainant or if a solution has not been found, the complainant will be notified and advised on what further action can be taken.
