CLUB SELECTION GUIDELINES
The aim is to provide Selectors with clear procedures and to communicate to members a
transparent policy that provides all members with the certainty they will be selected on merit.
Sides should be selected to maximise performance and achieve the best result possible; as
well as considering the spirit of the game.
Member Bowlers:
- If unavailable for selection, a member must advise their Team Manager, by no later than 24 hours prior to commencement of the match.
2.4 Availability of Member Bowlers
If more members are available in a particular division, a rotation protocol should operate that ensures every player within each division that is considered to be of acceptable standard is offered a fair and proportional share of games.
The Chairperson of the Selection Panel is to record week by week names of any bowler rotated for reference by selectors.
All decisions that affect a bowler in any division must be communicated to the bowler as soon as possible.
